Bishop The Peculiar One says:

Fada Muta greetings and much respect to you and the entire Cutting Edge/Stepping Razor family.

My name is, "Bishop The Peculiar One".
I am reaching out to you as a independent Reggae Artist, who is currently trying to get a break in the Jamaican music industry, but I'm now at a critical juncture of this journey and desperately in need of help.

Here's the thing Muta, most of my songs are not conventional. One of the songs that I am currently focused on bringing to the forefront is a song called, "The Meeting". It is a song that has the audacity to demand for the Leader & the Opposition Leader of Jamaica to meet with an ordinary & unknown citizen (not at Gordon House or Jamaica House), but on his veranda. It goes on to ask some pertinent questions concerning both current and past issues. Bad decisions, lies, scandals and the general misrepresentation of the people by every Prime Minister that has ever led this country. Sure enough most Disc Jockey will be timid, to say the very least, about showcasing the raw uncompromising statements found in a song like this. Hence the reason I'm reaching out to you.

I am now in my 40's, but from as early as I can remember; as a youth growing up in Jamaica, Mutabaruka has been like the Louis Farrakhan of Jamaica. And I say that with the highest of compliments intended. Because whether one agreed or disagreed with what you had to say, you have NEVER been afraid, intimidated or bashful to say what's on your mind. So that's the primary reason why I am reaching out to you.

The secondary reason is the fact that you are the ONLY person that I know of, [repeat; "THAT I KNOW OF"] who hasn't compromised their Integrity, as a Communicator and a On-Air Personality, for the sake of the Almighty Dollar.
Today's reality is that some man will hear a tune, love the tune, agree 100% with the tune, but will NEVER play the tune if you can't find away to grease their palms.

As an independent Artist I struggle to put food on my own table sometimes, just because I put all my resource in creating the music. I'm not even disagreeing with these Radio Personalities & Sound Man wanting to get paid, as I understand that "every man affi eat a food". I'm just saying, can the pot at least get on fire first?

Here's my info Muta….
Artist: Bishop The Peculiar One.
Label: Lef Han Productions.
The 4 main song I'm pushing right now are…
"The Meeting", "A Nuh Wuk Mi Want", "Mr. Stress (Remixed)" and "Good, Better, Best".

They are currently available on over 150+ platforms, such as;
Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Google/Play, YouTube, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, Napster, iHeartRadio, ClaroMusica, Saavn, Anghami, KKBox, MediaNet, Shazam and more.

I'm sincerely asking, not as someone who thinks the world owes him a favor, but as someone who wants to impact the world positively, that you give my songs a listening ear. After listening, if you agree that I have something positive and meaningful to contribute to our society, and the world at large, then and ONLY then am I urging you to help me loud up the thing. And use the song called "The Meeting" to introduce me to the masses both a yard & abroad.

In closing Muta, I'd like you to know that unknowingly, you have already contributed to this work. You, and others like you, who over the years through your own steadfastness and consistency has made a distinction of your own voice. Such influences has me in finding my own voice also. And not just finding it but understanding how to distinguish it from others also.
Muta, bless up yuself mi General. And thanks in advance.
-Bishop.
