I Was baptize Catholic both parents have Portuguese fathers why. They rebelled and became Muslims in the 60s after coming to UK. We went to the Caribbean to live and I decide at 14 to live Rastafari way. I return to UK and continue to be Rasta. Limited spiritual food in the Rasta community and division white Rasta and corruption made me disillusioned. I was invited to 7th day church it was ok. I was then invited to an African Pentecostal church where I found I learned a lot from the pastor about spiritual things and connecting with God and was baptized. I enjoyed the journey and had many revelations. There were problems later at church divisions. I stopped going.. I never like the communion and used to pray to cancel anything wrong about it from my life. I later return to Rastafari and told them at church that it's Rasta set me on a good path most of my life. I was raised on black power and not church. I believe the journey was good informative and set me in the right place. African pride Rastafari guide. I am at one. Peace one love.
