This guy, Dr Amos Wilson one of my favorite conscious black men this world ever produced like most conscious black men never not only got the recognition he so richly deserved but never was taken seriously by the masses of black people nor was taken serious enough by the conscious black people to galvanize enough black people to act collectively to take in account WHAT IT was he was really saying, he was merely trying to educate US to our dilemma, sad sad he was taken from us I believe before the culmination of his intentions was realize…..
The Koreans are divided in two and work off of Nationalism and economic interest that they share with others interests, they dont work off of "Koreaness". This guy is acting like there is no economic interest outside of identity when class structures and power structures are the identity that forms, irrelevent to race, cultural identity etc…its the class structure and power structures.
There is no historical reason to think that a peoples upper classes wont oppress their lower classes, regardless of if they are the same, race, creed, religion, culture, etc….
Co-op system is the future 50 people put in $1,000 to open up a community grocery store co-ops could also save the manufacturing sector a community employee-owned factory woud stay in a community longer than a corporate own factory that only wants to maximize profits
I'm glad his work lives on. He offered not only an analysis, but pragmatic solutions to the issues.
