This is a form of trauma bonding. That females followers are trauma bonded to her. She's, seemingly, likable, cool, down to earth, a supporter of women and children who champion's the awareness of narcissism. She had her preemptive strike in place so anything dark she does, gets brushed under the rug on the back of "just trying to help people" while those with heart are left scrambling trying to put the rug fire out wondering how the hell it got started and where it originated from.
