This is what the Democratic party does. They use identity politics as a stepping stone to a larger agenda. They say to every minority group "We're looking out for you" and then once they get your vote locked up, they ignore you and move on to the next minority group du jour.
I've seen this as a gay person. Gay white males were the core of the gay right movement. Now we're "privileged" and increasingly ignored. They've moved on to pushing transgenderism.
Yep, I agree with this. And blacks weren't the only ones displaced. That's why many white working class men voted for Trump.
