What I love about the African History of the Ancient Egyptian civilization is, we learn that many of them migrated throughout the rest of Africa when Ancient Egypt was invaded. But I feel like we don't talk enough about where the Ancient Egyptians originated from, their origins. The ancient Egyptians clearly defined their African origin in the Papyrus of Hunefer when they state, "We came from the beginning of the Nile where God-Hapi dwells, at the foothills of the Mountain of the Moon." The Mountain of the Moon identifies Kenya’s Kilimanjaro Mountain or Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountain. The Egyptians originated in Africa, south of the Sahara. Non black people are so quick to try and disconnect them from the rest of Africa.
