J W Small says:

This was during the time When Jesse Jackson debated the term African-American, in Congress. Kwame ture was right we are Africans born in America or as he sometimes says Africans living in America. Who are citizens according to the Constitution. And our contribution of fighting and shedding our blood in the civil war to keep the union together.

"Africans"

Vintage Souffle, LLC says:

We need to first nail down what we choose to be. Many of us are ashamed of our heritage and don't want anything to do with that culture and history. Their minds have been reformed and deformed. Kwame and all the others espousing black power became a radical needle in the eyes of blacks that wanted in on the wealth and power brokering which meant adopting European ideology and practices. It's the reason the black community became what it became today. They abandoned the community and African values. That young brother (Leon Winters) was so deceived as he is willing to adopt a culture that basically murdered senselessly millions of natives. Putting on the blinders is and was the problem. Crack prevented Africans in America from reaching the next phase Ramon Edelin speaks of. Now with all the murders we get we were never going to be included unless we betrayed ourselves and our people.

Brother Nkwame Toure. It's the perfect example of a pan Africanist unapologetically African. I love this ancestor.

[THE YU] says:

Smh it's the non-radical Africans in America that continue the pattern of what white supremacy reinforces.

4411825 says:

Identity is a foundational question that Africans must get correct because if not one will seek to make contributions to their enemy instead of liberation!

William Weeden says:

Niki Pressey says:

Kush Kandy says:

Kush Kandy says:

black people, we need to understand that there's no future for us in capitalism. we can never win in that game because the game is built on our backs. i don't understand why we keep doing this, why we keep trying to fit in a system designed to kill us? 🙁
