Tribute to our Honorable Ancestor Marcus Garvey (Part 1)
Before there was Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Medgar Evers or Huey Newton, there was the Honorable Ancestor Marcus Mosiah Garvey. Any true African leader abroad that came along post-Garvey cannot escape the influence of his ideas and philosophy.
Brother Malcolm X's parents were Garveyites. Garvey's Born day is August 17, 1887.
Marcus Garvey's movement is arguably the greatest of modern times. Here is a two part documentary that will express the deep love we should have for this honorable Ancestor as it depicts his life, work, and accomplishments.
