Omar Elhillo says:

What to series and who is he referring to on 30:00

Reezy37 says:

If the Moors successfully invaded Europe again it would not only stop the slave trade but it would also prevent the European invasion of the America's, Australia, and Asia.

Reezy37 says:

I wonder how another Moorish invasion of Europe during the start of the transatlantic slave trade would have gone?

I. J. West says:

"All religions that said that God endorsed slavery are liars and hypocrites. No religion or no God ever approved of anybody enslaving anybody." ~ Dr. John Henrik Clarke

Reggie Carroll Jr. says:

This was amazing…thank you for uploading…Dr Henrik Clarke is a great man and a great teacher.

Zaid Dinally says:

The Africans themselves built some of the greatest civilisations before and during Islam. The Arabs came and Dahia Kahina (a Jewish Queen) resisted for many years in Libya. However it was the Berbers who carried Islam further and carried their nomadic ways in Spain and Portugal. Arabs and Berbers had considerable tension in Iberian peninsula. Arabs forced Berbers to settle instead of be nomads. Black Africans who became Muslims established the most powerful kingdoms like Songhay and the richest in Malian Empire under Emperor Mansa Musa. The Africans rebuilt Islamic influence by the power of Almohads and Almoravids over Western Africa and the province of Al-Andalusia (Spain and Portugal). Islam was infiltrated and schism and altered during the tribulations and the usurpation of Ummayyad.

Reezy37 says:

Well african armies and navies of the Mali empire and Songhai empire had the power to successfully resist the slave trade. They were destroyed however by internal conflicts and foreign invasions.

1. An important and enlightening lecture from Dr. John Henrik Clarke. However, @ 1:49:17 he was wrong to state that Jesus Christ was an illiterate! Jesus Christ was very literate and extremely knowledgeable on many topics! For example, He was reported to have read in the synagogue:

2. "16He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18'The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor'.
20Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21He began by saying to them, 'Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing'.
22All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. 'Isn’t this Joseph’s son?' they asked.
23Jesus said to them, 'Surely you will quote this proverb to me: Physician, heal yourself! And you will tell me, Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’
24Truly I tell you,' he continued, 'no prophet is accepted in his hometown. 25I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. 26Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. 27And there were many in Israel with leprosyg in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian'”. Luke 4:16-27.

razaq rajper says:

A'uza billahi min ash shaitani r rajeem Bismi'llahi r rahman r rahim. I seek protection with Allah from the accursed satan. In the name of Allah the most merciful and the most beneficient. Now this english translation of the original Arabic hardly does justice to the words of Allah Subhanallah. May Allah Subhanallah forgive me for any wrong things that I might utter from my mouth or to anyone that I may offend. so please forgive me. Rights of other people is something I will be accounted for one day. Allah Subhallah says in his kalam through prophet Muhammed (pbuh) I will forgive mans sins as high as the mountains except for the shirk. shirk is something Allah subhanallah will not forgive. And the rights of other man, so that person that you have offended he/she has to forgive you, otherwise it will be weighed against you.

Now, The truth is a very powerful thing. We hide from it because we fear it so much that we envelope/cover/screen/curtain/wall our selves with lies, deception, falsehood, arrogance, ignorance so that our existence can be safe. That is the Darkness. Darkness has existence of its own and when a ray of light/Truth/hope penetrates that Darkness/ignorance it wants to shut it out. Just like trying to wake up in the morning and removing the curtains/eyelids over your eyes so that the soul/truth that is inside you and each of us that Allah Subhanallah has breathed into us, faces the solar/sun/light of the day to meet face to face. but for some of us tend to close the screen/lid and go back into the darkness/sleep/ignorance. And others of us keep vigil at night or wake at the call of Azaan. Truth is a very powerful thing but it lives a wretched life in this world but always always outlives the lie . So the night is the covering for the day and the day is the covering for the night. When the Prophet Muhammed Peace be upon him was going for the night journey to meet Allah Subhanllah he described the ascenion through the seven heavens as if going through curtains, going through layers after layers of curtain. Each curtain had prophet representative, may Allah's mercy be upon them.

Qaddafi was never an example of anything apart from a self serving ignorant; mad; dictator who used Islam; Arabism; blackness freedom cry and socialism (while he had a palace next to every tent he was pictured in; as was exposed by the 17/2/2011 revolution ) to put himself on front of the TV & world media!! Ex; he prisoned & killed so many Libyans much more than Mandela was imprisoned for.
