Of course, Marcus Garbey must be commended for his goals and aims. But– I'm afraid to disappoint those wearing blinders– he was also a charlatan, a huckster and a colossal failure. the caribbean is different from the AA in the regards of power that comes with majority rule. Afro caribbean people for some time ruled themselves (by majority) AA's never had that.
