Queen Elizabeth supplied Morocco with the guns and cannons that assisted them in conquering the Songhai empire in 1591. Due to the guns, cannons, and bad Songhai battle tactics the Moroccans defeated the Songhai empire resulting in the empire's destruction which allowed the transatlantic slave trade to flourish in Africa. If the Songhai had modified their tactics they could have beat the Moroccans and changed the history of West Africa and possibly Africa itself.
I've learned more from watching Dr. John Henrik Clarke, than I learned from K-12 and College. But to really appreciate him is to know he's coming from memory and knowledge. To watch him keep dates in order with just occasional glances at notes throughout his lectures is amazing. I have to watch his videos two or three times and take notes, just to keep up. R.I.P Sir. All other human groups formed in other land areas (in the time after) the first sentient Africa-Black humans left Africa. Those other 'traveling' human groups changed in those other land areas because the total environment therein, of Asia or the Americas, were not the same as Africa.
