I Never a bad thought about Black people, never, neither did my Slavic parents who were poor, and struggled like everyone else in the 40's, 50's and 60's! But I do not like, nor condone, Black crime and violence, as much of it is directed toward us, and other people, simply because we are White, and seem to be symbols of "Evil" in much of the Black community!! Most people are not as "Evil" minded as you seem to think! Maybe being brought-up poor may have felt our class wasn't that much different than the Black folks who lived around us, I don't know, but never was a derogatory word spoken about Black folks in our household! And my folks were as uneducated as anyone, yet kept a composure about themselves! But remember this Kwezi, fear can bring out the worst in people, so what you see, is not always the way you think it is! People often look bad because they see things that are destructive, and do not have to like it! But I know too many black people who are great, and have overcome much adversity in their lives, yet still maintain a decency in them! If we don't hold to reaching that balanced perspective, we can easily become confused and hateful! While you may find it hard to bring in more "Soulful" facts, just because it does not jive with the wants of the Black community to feel superior and dominant, it is a vital missing ingredient, and fact that must be infused into the thought process, no matter what some of your people think about it? There just is too much anger in so many Black people, almost as if there aren't any decent, and loving, White folks anywhere? Our plight and circumstances are being neglected by too many Black folks these days! If you don't keep a balanced perspective, then you are to blame for most of the crime and misfortune of many Black people! Yes, folks in Africa may have started everything rolling way back when, but they also have caused much pain and death among their own people, as well as ours as well!
