#DonaldTrump has recently been accused of ‘racism’ because of a 1973 housing discrimination lawsuit that was brought by the Department of Justice against the Trump organisation for refusing to rent properties to black tenants: http://tinyurl.com/gmqypnk
On the evidence of this 1962 speech, #MalcolmX would have DEFENDED #MrTrump against those charges by arguing (as he does in this video clip) that the #BlackAmerican, armed with a 1962 purchasing power of $20 BILLION with which he could easily set up his OWN businesses, “is not in a moral position to point the finger...at the white man and (accuse him of discrimination) for not giving him a job in factories that (the white man) himself set up…”
#Malcolm’s argument would be just as applicable to a white landlord (like Mr Trump) who refused to rent property to Black Americans whose 1973 buying power of nearly $100 BILLION would have provided them with sufficient resources with which to build their OWN housing… #RealTalk

Black people have the talent, the resources, the creativity – even the education but we don't have the unity to progress. If Black people ever decided to work together, accept each other, do business with each other & work together we could actually get somewhere.
You must think deeper about what Black people have not done for themselves. He is saying, be thoughtful, encouraging our people and help them to be the best that they be. it is a very important mind set. We need to control our wealth. my only problem is I do not believe in separatism.
The SUCCESSFUL financial achievements we made were routinely DESTROYED by jealous whites, we also own Johnson & Johnsons as well as North Carolina Mutual (if I got the name right) Insurance. . . Other successful companies too. . . And now other rich blacks like Magic Johnson, Gordy Berry, and others have successfully gone into business. . . Now blacks are being pushed out of the emerging Cannabis industry. . . Malcom X and MLK died young and were still ignorant of MANY things!
the the guy is saying to talking points trump raised which seem to aggitate a few of you somewhat mirrors what the beloved Malcolm x is saying in his speech. some of you need to read more and develop an understanding.
If anyone thinks Malcolm X would have anything nice to say about Trump, they're a fool. Even after his trip to Mecca, I can't see him calling him anything other than what he is.The country and the world could use this great man today.
Like MLK said, the white peasant came here and was given stolen land, money, agriculture education. He did not come here and put his pennies together, he came here and was given handouts. Malcolm X is wrong on the facts here.
But, here is the part that's left out… Some Blacks have been handicapped from slavery so bad that it would be impossible in your lifetime to turn that person around.
Important to note, this speech was BEFORE JFK's assassination. The fact IS that, as part of the larger issue that Malcolm X brings up regarding the 'international western power structure', this message is dead on accurate.
However, that said.
Would like to also bring this up as well. There were elements in what becomes world history, that had not yet occurred.
That if allowed in the equation, would reinforce this notion. One has to look past the "now" factor, to establish the timeline to this past, to then show HOW this message still resonates to this day.
If those that are truly 'down for the cause' in that effort to achieve those +New Possibilities, one must look deeper than what shimmers on the surface.

And what has Elijah Muhammad and Farakhan done constructive in this regard after all they have preached the last 100 years?
Malcolm X would've chewed up Drumpf. CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP!
