RantingForSanity says:

The simplest thing the average person can do is to buy from black-owned and operated business in their community. You know where they are. Find out which businesses are owned by blacks, or rent from property owners that are black, and only buy from those businesses.

If you do nothing else, you can do that

James Gray says:

STOP VOTING G FOR LIAR DEMOCRATS WHO REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING FOR BLACK PEOPLE. ..

Learn to do a skill or trade that's in demand and save art of your money in a black bank that's committed to business development in the black community.

Tom Dwan says:

I'm white, i'm poor, i was raised in a shitty trailer eating shitty food while getting in fights with black people who hated me for my skin color(i was 1 of the 2 white kids in my entire hood). Literally just walking on the sidewalk and get some kids who come up and beat me just because I'm white. Do i really have 87% more than black people? No i don't.

White can be racist and so can blacks. the real problem is poverty. Poor black people and white people all have it rough. I understand that the majority of shit is owned by white people, but that has nothing to do the vast majority of whites.

At the end of the day in my opinion, It's about classism, People raised in poor families have much less opportunities than people raised in a wealthy family. But then again im just some "racist honky white boy cracker".

Max Rockatansky says:

What he says is partially true. But most whites are not Donald Trump or Vince McMahon. If you go to most white high schools in this country the amount of girls pregnant is very small. If you go to black high schools the amount of girls pregnant is high. That is the problem in a nutshell.

The key is education. That's where it starts. If black girls have four babies by the time they are 20 and the fathers are gang banging thugs hanging out at the clubs, what future do the four children have? Answer: zero chance.

TheAshFactor1 says:

Wow. I feel this. I definitely feel the being born into nothing notion hard. Started at the bottom, worked hard but I am still not up to par yet… it's frustrating. I can't wait to see this.

ronald peterson says:

Very interesting and informative, I see I have a lot of work to do if I'm going to leave my son with more than an insurance policy. Ricardo, thanks for your post brother.

Quinton Morgan says:

Great commentary

d preston says:

His point of all black economics was spot on. The civil rights era was definitely a distraction and we are currently distracted from economics. I do not agree with his statement that all white people have 80% of unearned income. If all white people obtained 87 percent of their income from unearned sources, then why do they make up almost 45 percent of welfare. If welfare is deemed as unearned income then what is the black percentage that he quoted. His point on improvement seems to be weakened by his hyperbolic statement. Keep good points strong.

Terrance Galvin says:

economic development should've been our along side civil rights….we would be better off as a people

michelle jenkins says:

most black who did inherit land like my family did, did not see the wealth potential. they bought into the dream of going north and working in the factories and squandered what they had.

T Davis says:

All we do is talk. Where are the Black leaders, teachers, "famous people"?
I'll tell you, NO WHERE. You are all on your own in this world and you are
not defined by your Race. I don't want to be associated with that element because
that is not who I am. We (black folks) are not family and we owe each other nothing.
Our attitudes SUCK, and we constantly hate on each other let alone the mythical "white man"
So, from now on I'm looking out for me and mine, and will trust no one until they earn it.

Calvin Moss says:

In order to develop our wealth, we must first develop our mind. We've been preconditioned to believe by our own inferior thinking that we can't build because we don't have the connections. At the same time, we refuse to network. Never under estimate the power of networks. Robert kiyosaki author of "richdad, poor dad" says the "rich build networks while everyone else looks for work". We have to get the right education and fornuately I am in the position to offer the right education.

GenocideExposed says:

In order to sustain our existence in this wicked, wretched, structural racist society that thrives on capitalism it's imperative that we own & control our own resources, which starts w/land. It's the same as building a home which cannot stand without a foundation. Knowledge is power & the TRUTH will set you FREE…

TheTrooth99 says:

This sounds like a load of nonsense. The interview is spoken as if it's still 1950, man.

Unearned income. That comes from assets, that's what rich people have, doesn't mean only "white" people have them, this guy makes it sound like it is. He makes it sound like "white" people are always rich and black people always poor.

And I hate using the term "white" or "black" because the truth is, there are so many variations of what people call "white", right down to olive and cream, like me. It goes the same for black, you can find them creamy-coloured in the East.

Back to Dr. Anderson 1:29 , he asks where is the "black unearned income". The "black unearned income" has only just begun to exist. The reason is because only in the recent few decades have their been freedom for African-Americans and British-Caribbeans/Africans in the countries that let more rich people exist (U.S. and Europe). Those people have been given the same rights and freedoms because of the works of Martin Luther paving the road to race equality (it is still a new thing in a way). And during that time, immigrants have flooded these 'rich' countries and maybe have made a fortune where blacks have not. Maybe that's why this guy feels that there is no "black unearned income", I don't know.

But only until today have there been "black unearned income". That's my answer to you, Claude. There are many people who have "black unearned income" from black people who don't act like hoodrats and are independent of social let-downs like the 'hood. You can't blame that kind of shit existing on you guys because the "white" man forced you into living like that because that was the way to cope back then, for sure. But today's the day where you don't need it. You know, another thing I've realized about people is that the more alone you are, the smarter you get. "Black" people don't really spend that much time alone, maybe they should.

Jamiel Cotman says:

White people are born with 87% of what they need.

Deep.

Black wealth creation is sort of like playing monopoly against someone who already owns 87% of the board.

African American Homeland says:

To build wealth in the Black community, I propose a formation of an African American Stock Exchange, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Most countries of the world have a Stock Market. These government know the quickest way to build wealth or raise money in a
poor third world country is through the Stock Market. I notice that most third world country's Stock Market equal or are 50% of the nation's GDP. For example Philippines Gross Domestic Product is 250 billion dollars. Their Stock Market capitalization is 250 billion dollars as well. Black American's GDP after taxes and without government expenditures is over one trillion dollars. Therefore an African American Stock Exchange has a potential capitalization of over one trillion dollars and will be the 17th largest Stock Exchange in the world. Just below Spain 1,146 trillion and above Brazil 950 billion. However, A Stock Exchange can only be Chartered by a State government or a group of State governments. State Governments control by White Americans will not give Black Americans the opportunity for a formation of an African American Stock Exchange. This is why we need control of our own States or 8 States. This can be done through the African American Homeland States. The one trillion dollar Stock Exchange will be used to buy up, white owned corporate assets in the 8 States Southern Region and build large Corporate Institutions and build wealth inn the Black community. The 8 States government will Charter Banks, Insurance Corporations and other Financial institutions, including a Fannie Mae type Regional Mortgage Corporation. We need our own 1% or wealthy class, wealth builders, Large land owners and Philanthropist.
