I hope that those who comment will leave their own memories and thoughts regarding Dr Ben. Please tell the family what Dr Ben means to you and why.

Rickey Joyce says:

This man paved the way for black sanity and victory. He was a true historical pioneer. May he rest in peace.

Tina S says:

Just beautiful!

The BLK Knight says:

Thanks PBT for another great lesson. Dr Ben will never be forgotten he was a true scholar and hero to BLACK people.

The As-Salam Alaikum Revolution says:

Did y’all know that he converted to Islam before he died?

joney says:

Hey PBT, in the video you asked who is the next Dr. Ben to pick up the task of filling in the gaps that he missed in his research. What do you think about Anthony Browder and Robin Walker? I think he those 2 have done a great job in their research.

Brian Howard says:

Dr. Ben helped me learn more about Africa's greatness and gave me inspiration to name my Son's Kemet, and Ahmun.

Ryan Lee says:

Dr. Ben, an unwavering champion for the truth. Scholars of his academic acumen NEVER DIE. He resurrected us as a people, and has changed my life, permanently. I am going for my Masters in History now to be a teacher/servant for our people BECAUSE OF HEROES LIKE HIM. His work removed the hoodwink, and each subsequent generation of Black People must honor his legacy and continue the task. Ase to the men and women whose work continues to transform our colonized minds, to redeem the Original Man. B1.

MyVoice Channel says:

Researching Dr. Ben after this.

Greg Whitener el says:

In the 80s and 90s when there were still black owned independent bookstores, I wold pick up books every Saturday morning as a kind of ritual to counteract the previous five days of dragging myself into an office full of rednecks and spend the next few nights reading for escapism. Van Sertima, John Henrik clark, ja rodgers, Gerald Massey and Dr Ben and gradually it dawned on me that I had been lied to my whole life and that I could be more because I had come from more and that being black was nothing to make apologies and excuses for, but rather something to aspire. He helped me do better by helping me know better. Rest in Power.

bittertruth G says:

When I first heard of Dr. Ben and Dr.Clake my head was still swimming from reading "The Destruction of Black Civilization" which was by accident. I must admit I always thought Dr. Ben had a humorous tone to his lectures. I can't compare the two it would be like comparing red apples to green apples. Their books MUST be read and digest them as you would food.

Citizen Vlogs says:

Todd Glover says:

Not familuar with the great Dr's work but I will be sure to become inlightend. From hearing of his work here, he means to me what restoration means to all of creation. All of creation moans, it groans in pains of child birth to be restored. Simply put he means restoration to all of us.

Todd Glover says:

I long for the day when people of color from around the globe place there focal point on our homeland. If I truly knew how and what to do I would. I know thst all people who are not black should not be in a black nation. Just as they are not fund of us being near to them we should not think its advantagious for them to be near to us in our country. Yes the mother land belongs to us wheather we were born there or not. In the words of Mr. Mooney, if you take a zebra out of Africa, put it any where eles in the world doesnt chang the fact the zebra is still out of Africa. Doesnt change anything about the zibra. Same thing about us. We are decendants of Africans doesnt change who we are. Time to build Africa up Africans. Africans for Africa. The true movement.

Kyle Frazier says:

Rest In Life the ancestors. Glad they lead the good fight. We need more educated, less misleading coons.

Leo Tha Last says:

Beautiful!!!!

Felix TheObserver says:

So Dec 31st is Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan Day.  Marking my calendar now.

Miles Goodison-Fearon says:

I really learned a lot from this video so I thank you for posting this.

CharcoalJoe says:

I have indeed noticed that the Jews use that "speak low" tactic when under attack. I have an aunt in New York who was a frequent visitor of DR. BEN. It seems that a nigger actually went into DR. BEN'S office and physically attacked DR. BEN. What was really curious about this was the individual who attacked DR. BEN was seen walking around, hanging around the neighborhood, no ass kicking or street justice administered before he was finally arrested. The whole world new about the attack, because it was reported in various newspapers. I was first exposed to DR. BEN around 1974.

Dylan Wong says:

Thank you PBT. Thank you very much!!
