This is a great channel. I'm a 57yo CEO of a consulting firm. I've been 3rd from the top of a Fortune 500 company. Everything Watkins and Anderson are saying is true.
Understandably, with great gain comes some sacrifice and yet, I have experienced like Dr. Anderson and yourself Dr. Watkins a couple of generations entering and exiting this realm. Even though I am a part of the Breaking Brown Family I got one more vote 2020 three more years of time and good intent to devote by 2021 to see some progress for the D.O.S Descendants of Chattel Slave Community. I'm done with rhetoric whether that be from the pulpit, family, community or political office. Thanks.
This is proof how slavery has affected our people. Not only are Black people selfish and don't want to spend their money educating their children, but black people will not support black business like every other race under the sun they won't buy from us. And if we won't support our own then we wonder why we can't keep a business long. And black parents why is it we raise our daughters to make it, but our black son's are expecting women to take care of them. To many black men do not even pay child support, because they won't work. I'm sick of watching our black men making babies, but won't feed and clothe them.
If black people held office in the 1870s, that means they had the right to vote. For the ones and their families who held office, how did they lose the right to vote in the 1900s?? No law took the right away, so how was it removed from them??

With all due respect, there have been pockets of black entrepreneuralism. Most of us have heard by now of Tulsa, Rosewood, DC, where blacks flourished and we're building wealth but then subsequently destroyed (literally raped, murdered, imprisoned, robbed) over trumped up charges. One step forward two steps back – not always self induced. Perhaps however, now is the time to build true wealth – I hope it will be across the board, anyone with the know-how and no requirement to join any group or society.
The ONLY wealth that the "average Joe/Joan" can potentially possess is his/her ability to think for self; other than that, all material wealth can only be possessed by those who have conquered people and their lands. Material wealth as well as the means of production are only possessed by the conquerers/the elite, those who monopolizes the politics and the economies of this world.
