Yes Sir- I had the occasion more than once to host Dr Khalid when he visited Kent State University. On the last occasion (1993) we argued in the Airport in Cleveland as I felt he was causing The Minister unnecessary pain. When his plane arrived, we saluted each other and I never (personally) saw him alive again after that. I loved our Brother! I get the challenges he faced! I’m glad it was him setting an example for me, rather than me setting one for him. Ameen.
This was educational, however the emphasis on man worship is tragic. Idolization of selected leaders has not benefited our people at all and in fact it has limited those who engage in it to the point of being ineffective at bringing benefit that they would otherwise be capable of. I am baffled as to why you all see Khallid Muhammad as such a great example of a leader when he promoted such a very flawed man (Farrakhan) as so "honorable" and someone to be trusted.
