Since it was your African-American husband's money, USE THE MONEY FOR YOUR HUSBAND'S PEOPLE. Donot use it to meddle in Philippine politics. We don't need your money and more so, you. YOU ARE AMERICAN NOW. No longer a Filipino. STAY OUT OF THE PHILIPPINES, LOIDA LEWIS!!!
I am trying to follow his footsteps @TheSushiraw as we speak… I am interested in meeting with other folks that are trying to do the same thing… starting out of Baltimore…
Dude once owned CERES chocolate mixed milk, and TROPICANA juice, very popular brands here in EUROPE. He also had a very large and lucrative ICE CREAM brand in SPAIN and PORTUGAL.
I read his book and I have mixed opinions about the guy. I respect his hard work, but I did not like him. In his book he talked about several businesses he wanted to buy and despite him being the top bidder on some of those businesses. The white businesses owners still ignored him or turned him down outright. He came off as " I am the top bidder, what's the problem in selling me your business". I don't like that kind of attitude. It kind of reminds me of my rental property business. Some people come to see the unit and they act like just because they have a deposit,I am suppose to rent my unit to them. O no it does not work like that. I can rent to whomever I want to, just like those white business owners can sell to whomever they want to, and just because you are the top bidder does not mean that you are ENTITLED to have the business. Also in his book there were people who were his immediate staff in his law firm who never got paid on time and was paid below average wage. I respect his hard work, but I just didn't like the guy.
Thank you for shedding light on this little known hero of our time- !! Love his book Why Should White Guys Have All The Fun, it was a game changing book for me.
Glad he didn't cry about stuff and worked. A few people in America could learn from him.
Inspired by this brotha
