My brother and I would watch this every Sunday afternoon at 1pm religiously on Channel 7. I was particularly looking for this episode. Thank you so much!
Right on! Agreed, these films are an Absolute Gold Mine of Black Knowledge; and what we as a people have always needed to hear. It is historically evident that we are the earth, all powerful, and all knowing; but have been systematically subject to the most diabolical of schemes contrived by inferiors to keep us ignorant as to what we really are.
I remember this man primarily for his close relationship to brother Malcolm X. If I recall correctly, he was featured on the documentary ‘Make It Plain’ detailing the legacy and impact of Malcolm. This is a very brilliant brother and Malcolm X, himself, adored John Henrik Clarke.
I understand that a lot of black people want to look towards Africa as our heritage but why would we look past a very deep Black Heritage over here… that we have placed Blood Sweat years Souls AND lives of angst into… I understand what people speak of are strained relations with our family from the motherland but let me state that I've noticed that when they meet brothers and sisters over here who have some knowledge and understanding of both of our plights the African response is usually the same as if they were speaking to some no good Nigga on the streets.
Too many times have I come across one of them driving Uber or in a local grocery store, sparking conversation and all they speak of is using good opportunities the opportunities that are over here they don't see none of the b***** just the opportunities and so it lets me know that they're acting as if they don't see it… kind of ironic how those from places of social Torment coming to this land and somehow become blind to the torment of others around them.
And I don't have any beef with them for that specific response…they just bring the reality to us that perhaps even though it is our source… the brothers and sisters over there having gone through whatever process that they've gone through be set by programming of Europeans or anglos or Devils whatever you choose to fit these cretins cultural perspective…. THAT programming is too far good and too far gone for us to do this one big huge embracement and overlook what we're dealing with in our respective National realities.
Our situations are a lot more dire than what we often Express them to be.
Thank you posting!

Gil Noble had the bravest media platform of that time and this
Dr. John Henrik Clarke.
Hard to believe Dr. Clarke's been gone 20 years; thank you for posting this; hoping a new generation is able to discover all that he meant to us.
