This is an incredible lesson in reality and truth. I grew up in Memphis TN and was lucky to caddy at he Memphis Country Club with very poor African American gentlemen who made $8/ day. Rabbitt put his daughter through college making a paupers wage. I was one of the white boys accepted into the experience and teachings of the poor black man. The rich, white only members of the Memphis Country enjoyed having us poor white and black folks carry their golf bags like mules. They were not having fun.
