TRELAWNY says:

The family needs to be treated more respectful, there are no excuses for any mistreatment.

Fire Angel says:

What happened to Marcus Garvey descendants? Why didn't they take the initiative to convert this house into a museum and have people pay to visit. The money made would upkeep the building and the grounds!
We as a people must take pride in the legacies of our heroes and learn from their successes or mistakes!

Dennis Williams says:

government must stop treating Jamaica people like animals. Miss Babsy Grange was behaving arrogant in the interview. she needs to treat the people them with respect.

jermaine linch says:

Chinese style takeover, the government well and truly caught the Chinese flu nice and easy. Smh. The government has no right. Jamaica meant to be a democracy, this is a communist move.

The government is right to do so.
A museum is better than to just have that land sitting there and wasting. The government did talk and tried to negotiate. They are just being greedy.

Caren Look says:

The government needs to pay her what is fair for the property. If it was a white foringer or a Chinese. They would pay what the market ask.
Compensate her fairly.

danny blackhorse says:

lol did I speak too early, eminent domain, once the Government decide there is no negotiation you are out you can't win, then again for a historical site this doesn't look so historical
and seem as if the government made attempts to settle this matter, I would love to visit Garvey's home but not this with his bus overshadow by this out os shape house. Let us see what the government do next. lets hope this wonnt be a money pit.

E. I. says:
