What happened to Marcus Garvey descendants? Why didn't they take the initiative to convert this house into a museum and have people pay to visit. The money made would upkeep the building and the grounds! We as a people must take pride in the legacies of our heroes and learn from their successes or mistakes!

The government needs to pay her what is fair for the property. If it was a white foringer or a Chinese. They would pay what the market ask. Compensate her fairly.
lol did I speak too early, eminent domain, once the Government decide there is no negotiation you are out you can't win, then again for a historical site this doesn't look so historical and seem as if the government made attempts to settle this matter, I would love to visit Garvey's home but not this with his bus overshadow by this out os shape house. Let us see what the government do next. lets hope this wonnt be a money pit.

The lady know it's a historic place ….so she's thinking prime real estate dis..dem haffi leggo some money..hopefully they resolve this soon.

Are the occupants family/descendants of Garvey? If not, then I agree with the gov't imminent domain with a negotiated $$
