Thanks for this report. I was a jr. in high school and my brother took me to see the first Ali (Clay) vs Liston fight on a closed circuit outlet in Syracuse. We saw many of his fights that way: Frazier, Holmes, Patterson (I have a lot of respect for Patterson after seeing him face Ali) I listened to the Ali /Terrell fight and the Williams fight on the radio when they happened and only got to see the Williams fight years later. I consider Williams and Terrell his best performances. I also saw the fight in Lewiston in the picture on closed circuit tv with my brother.After the Ali (Clay) vs Liston fight in front of the theater with Ali an 8 to one underdog there was a guy with a cigar in his mouth a wad of bills in his hand and a long line of people coming up and taking the money out of his hand. All the experts had been proven wrong. lolHe made my heart glad then and sad that he kept on so long. RIP Champ. You'll always be the greatest. I would have loved to see a 66, 67 version of Ali fight an absolutely prime Mike Tyson. I don't know who would have won.
