The early recollections penned by visiting explorers express clearly that this country was inhabited by Black people – an exceptional people even by their own given accounts of being genuinely awestruck – upon their arrival, so perhaps the anthem being cheered by the far right against others needs to be chanted by the Black community against them – "let's take our country back." One thing's for certain… based on numerous historical texts, that seems to be the last time the country was actually great. And what an interesting start of new history it'd be were it possible to successfully #MakeAmericaBlackAgain.

Some of the comments on this thread reflect a lot of ignorance. conclusions.like… Most of the audiance are older people!.Did the person who made this comment stop to think that older people may be wiser and more receptive of Dr.Andersons views.How many young black people listen to older black people.They have been trained not to listen.Many young black people are so caught up in thinking that they are smarter than their elders as well.Many of them are also more materialistic and white ass kissig than their parents ever were..

When he says stuff like, "The original intent of the Constitutional was for black people to be slaves," it seems like he's implying there was slavery everywhere at the start of the country in 1776. The truth is that all of the northern states had already abolished slavery by then.

there is a problem in the black community in America and everybody is in agreeance on that, but yet the problem still exist. I believe the root of the problem is lack of education and self-awareness no one teaches black people their history their roots and how important black people are to the existence of mankind. we trust and rely on white America to fix everything, what make you think that they want to put you at their level to compete for the same things that their kids are competing for, do you think they are fools. so when you go begging white America for a job and they not quick to hire you start your own job ,hold out on the rims for your car, the jewelry around your neck and those $200 Nike shoes. black women are taken that s*** no more if you don't have money to contribute yes they going to kick you out and they should, that's why there is a lack of black men in the home. things are changing for the better and I contributed to President Obama, for inspiring our younger generation to make a change since 2009 do you see how many black CEO have increased in America from McDonalds ,Home Depot ,FedEx ,Kraft Food and many more. for the first time in history black women have the highest college enrollment in America just above Chinese women and Chinese men and Nigerians are the most educated group in America of any race like I said change is coming.

Allow me to explain the reason why Black Americans are labeled racist if they simply come together to discuss problems unique to Black Americans…stick with me here and don't gloss over what you're about to read. In order for me to make this clear to you, I will need to take you back in time and reveal one of the many reasons Africans made ideal slaves. One reason was Africans had a resistance to small pox; the African would get sick, but they usually would not die, because many African tribes raised cattle in Africa and those cattle suffered from cow pox and over thousands of years, Africans developed an immunity to cow pox, which is a disease very similar to small pox. Native American Indians would die if they caught small pox, because they hadn't any previous exposure to the small pox virus. Stick with me here, because the relevant reason Black Africans made an excellent choice for a slave was because of their physical appearance was so different from all the other people in America and these physical characteristics made it impossible for a slave to escape and blend into the surrounding White and Native American populations. This was the reason the slaves had to wear those collars with the rods that extended out from the collar; so it would slow the slave down that tried to escape through the bush. The slave knew he/she could not go unnoticed by traveling on the main roads. Now here is why no one wants to see Black Americans coming together…this is the part you don't want to gloss over, this is the part you need to meditate on. If Black Americans ever figure out that the very thing that has been used to hurt and control them, Black people could use their appearance to keep other people out. Slow down and really think about all the many ways we could use our appearance to hermetically seal all of our most private endeavors. Many Black people won't get it, but a few people will experience a eureka moment. You see, other races can pass themselves off as an Italian, a Jew, a Hispanic, etc., etc., but it's pretty hard for any other race to claim to be Black, but the vast majority of Black Americans are easy to identify, no matter how light their skin is, because their features are still the features of a Black American. Are there exceptions to this? of course there are exceptions like anything else, but this is the case the vast majority of the time. Use your imagination and think about how we can use this to our advantage. "SECRECY."

The youth don't care
The root of the problems in the black community is that we, black men of my generation, failed this new generation by leaving our families and leaving our women to raise our children by themselves. Our women have done the best they can do. Paying child support is not all our women and children need. They need our love not by words but by actions and our leadership. The solution for the black community is economic development. We need to use the business model of Greenwood Oklahoma," black wall street" and tweak it to fit today's society. Greenwood was a town of 10,000 blacks with 600 businesses. It's time to run our own in a more detailed dedicated effort. We can do it Dr. Anderson.
Racism and Nationalism have similar traits because one singles out their tribe as a preference this is a form of racism. I think you can empower and call out White Supremacy. But Unity(of the hearts) will never occur based on anything except creed. so I cant get on board for that reason. Islam frees one from that disease. But Love the way Dr. Anderson deals with Business and how to overcome in a racist society like America. but it will only fail due to lack of unity based on Creed.
Dr. Anderson is so on point in this lecture! He clearly dominates the topics of economics and social class status as it relates to racism in America both historical and present day. I think that he should segment his lectures so that they can be augmented in a timely fashion.
