Here's the deal. The average white kid is no better off in this world than the average black kid. Every opportunity remains the same. When I was a kid we went without electricity at times. And we survived off of donations and canned goods at times. My parents didn't get their act together until I was graduating high school. It was completely up to me to buy my first truck, hold a job, and start working my way into having anything. That's the situation for millions of Americans of all skin colors.
History is gone. Today it's completely up to the parents to instill the right values and hope the youth take it to heart. But what we have is a youth of entitled whiners demanding reparations and socialism.
Say there were reparations. If it was tax incentives you wouldn't notice it. If it was a bulk payment, you'd blow it all making the 1% richer and you'd be back to square one.
The fastest way to get on your feet is get off your ass.

The so-called Five Civilized Tribes were slave owners. It's interesting that the Cherokees AND the Seminoles have taken actions to lock "black" tribe members out of any Federal funding schemes. In the case of the Seminoles, there are many instances where black Seminoles have addressed being, after generations, suddenly being declared outsiders.
