From the Bahamas. I met him in New York in 1980. Prior to that I was in university in America. To this day I consider him a mentor and a better analyst of history than anyone else. This speech should have a million plus comments…but…a disgrace to say the least. I had the honor of hosting a 100 year celebration of his birthday on January 1st 2015. One of the last of the truly remarkable geniuses who ever lived! I say that with tremendous pride, humility, respect and admiration of one of my all time titans. Thanks for everything Sir. I and many Bahamians (including Howard Taylor, Dion "Diop" Williams and his wife, Aset Naomi, Dr. Dwight Marshall, Calvin and his wife Samantha "Black Power", Shawn, Dale, Angie Pyfrom and Shandle Williams) are proud to salute this Great Ancestor and his wife Sybil Wiliams-Clarke who hails from The Bahamas!
