Comments

abobjenkins says:

The audience was so sparse, and there were so few Black men.

sondrajean955 says:

I wonder if the audience realizes now, the truth that Dr. Wilson spoke. I bet he was there gratis. Obama was a "token". He's NOT one of us and didn't do shit for african descended americans.

mochasweet says:

That young lady looks like she's crying

GANGWAR78 says:

Dr. A.W. intellect could cut diamonds but the when camera pans the crowd it reminds me of the saying, never cast your pearls before swine. . Sorry for the negativity, but dam!!! He was giving them gems and it hardly look like anyone was grasping. . I wish I was there. I wish he was still here. R.I.P elder brother. Tho I doubt that he is giving the still stagnated state of the afrikan community.

Goddess Oracle says:

Watching and learning from Prophet Amos Wilson makes you completely understand that Integrity should NEVER be called into question.

AfricanThinkingChannel says:

Thanks for sharing that information.

DJ KaNeck says:

He makes the most startling revelation @2:10. It's been the message of Black Consciousness since the Marcus Garvey created the UNIA.

DJ KaNeck says:

high class servants…wow.

Prince Mallerd says:

@OMalone11 Did you get anything from it?

Kheru Djhuti says:

@lhoward360 please forgive me for being as judgemental as so many others who commented here, but how did someone who would even use that word (even in jest) end up on this page at all? Did you catch in the Biggie movie, the sly use of the Richard Pryor clip saying he would never call another black man that again? I'm always telling people that subtly doesn't work on the people who need the message most. Please come back to the page and see my other comments @ the audience. thanks

Kheru Djhuti says:

What should we be doing? smiling? these are DAUNTING and even DEPRESSING insights he's sharing. Sometimes while listening to him & others, I'd CRY over having learned what felt like NOTHING my whole life. I can't imagine what the footage of me at a lecture would look like from one sentence to another. Sometimes you're just dumbfounded & numb that if you hadn't gone there on that night, U may never have heard any of this. I hope each of you can have that experience so you can C for yourselves.

Kheru Djhuti says:

At 2:05 a wman scratches her head with a pen & you can see she has paper on her lap. does anyone notice that there are children there and they are AWAKE. Another thing to take into acct is that although Amos always had some new insight, sometimes there was repitition. he also wasont the only one saying these things, so at a certain point, you're making connections and don't need notes on every word. alson, writing can be a distraction from listening for some.

Kheru Djhuti says:

@skuderjay As someone who attended many a lecture in NY where he lived, the audiences were often packed. I'm sorry that the audience is shown here too. it doesn't look good. but many of these things were held at night, after 7 or 8 pm. you must know how exhausted people can be by 8 or 9 pm as NYers, we were TIRED. this isn't the norm and would not have looked like this on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. When he came to our college the year before he died, it was not like this

DivinePeaceAllah says:

Peace. it seems lack of wisdom on many of the comments on the audience size. As it is written "many shall come "yet my add on is "many shall come few shall CHOOSE it" how many lectures have any of you been to with a DR. such as his caliber an many people were there? My right & just brother who they call Jesus is written to have kept the company of only 12 individuals 13 for those who study wink wink lol if you look up I think views are at 2,631 plus aud on vid about 2,725 Dummies. Peace.

Magica360 says:

@sirenlyfox me too "its like 'hurry up and finish nigga"

sirenlyfox says:

i hate looking at the audience

skuderjay says:

that audience is pathetic.. not the numbers but their disposition. no interest whatsoever.. the majority of them look quite young.. too young to really absorb this
material.. if not for youtube it probably would be a total loss..

waffiki says:

@rdawta
i never knew that he died, what happend and when did he die? i am really upset; until today didn't know he passed away.
