Have you ever thought what do we mean by saying a thing can work or not work. Truth of a natural system is best ferreted out by propositions. If you propose numbers and functions you can determine something about the invisible natural systems which are at the back of our system. Have you ever asked the question why 1 + 1 is always equal to 2 why one day our calculator just turn up and give 1 + 1 = 8. Because they are unchanging natural systems invisible but approachable through number and function which maintain certainty.
Natural Systems are not nature but they are naturally occurring systems. There is only one earth so when the earth was created it was not only the earth that was created but it was the oneness of the earth that was created. So that when the earth was created it was one and not two. But the number 1 didn't need to be created it already existed in a natural system. For me natural systems are like the rail track which a train runs on and then the train is the reality operating in that system
One ting I want to share with you Muta. Have you heard believe half of what you see and none of what you hear? The idea that Reality is limited to what we can perceive with our 5 senses and then label knowledge is preposterous. But the idea that the only kind of science is empirical inquiry is also wrong. Can you see a number? The answer is no; yet you can see a number of something. This can be put down to the existence of natural systems.
