I love this movie and especially this number. Hedy Lamarr is GORGEOUS!!!!! Lana Turner is very beautiful too. Hedy looks like an angel, and I LIKE Lana's costume.
Wow wow wow , those women where fabulous , and the song ….. gosh …. that Tony Martin what a voice …. only heaven can maybe be better ! Hedy Lamarr, Lana Turner and Judy Garland what a presentation ….amazing !
What a splendid production number. Just imagine what six minutes captured on film took. The costumes, the set, the make-up, the orchestrations, the orchestra, the singers, and the people who put it all together. MGM's finest.
The costumes are gorgeous. The only one I didn't like was Lana Turner's. The head piece makes her head look strange and the entire outfit lacked the fullness and details that the others had.
so much class, beauty, and style from the 40's complete with giants of the business lana turner, hedy lamarr two of the most beautiful women in classic hollywood golden age. Then a young tony bennett magnificent singer, production well done!!!! song written by nacio herb brown lyrics by gus kahn. this is quality work not like the trash we get today in 2018. the studio system in the 40's just knew how to present a production on film.
To William Bond and David Whitman: No, the young lady at the beginning of the number did not remind me of Marilyn M. It was not Marilyn. Well, I am hoping that it is still OK to be beautiful. Unfortunately, today's film actors are just lacking in that department as well as some others.
Super excellent with very good interesting video
this is the movie that made me decide to be a Drag Queen! and boy was it fun got to be a Ziegfeld Girl!!!

The mind-blowing sets on these old ZF MGM musicals were beyond amazing! And without the tech they have, now. Sets today can't compare.
The MGM Dream Factory at full throttle.
