I believe Tupac correctly recognized Americans need to change the name of our “War On Poverty”, to “America’s Resolve to End Childhood Abuse, Emotional Neglect and Maltreatment.”
The foolish, the uneducated, and the uninformed constantly fails to bring up the fact that the district attorney attempted to overcharge Zimmerman. Overcharging is the attempt of tacking on frivolous charges against the accused in the attempt of making them accept a plea deal that is presented by the district attorney office.
Instead of charging Zimmerman with manslaughter the DA office overcharged him with 2nd degree murder, with the hope that Zimmerman would accept a plea of manslaughter. Zimmerman instead chose for his case to be heard by a jury in Superior Court which forced the DA to have to convince the jury with out a reason of doubt and very little supporting evidence that Zimmerman committed 2nd degree murder against Martin.
And because the DA's office had very little supporting evidence, Zimmerman was found not guilty. But had the DA's office tried Zimmerman on manslaughter charges, they would have gotten a conviction.
Something that the clueless general public fails to realize.
