+TheAdviceShowTV – There are many more neighborhoods, and even entire cities like this in the U.S. You should do a special video focusing on some of these other places. I used to spend time in Sag Harbor NY when I was a child, and it was affluent, and probably ninety nine to one hundred percent black. There is also Desoto TX, areas in Yonkers NY, East Chop in Martha's Vineyard, etc. I'd like to see you do that video. It would inform and uplift a lot of black people in this country, and around the world. No one thinks these places exist.
I've taken multiple IQ test and have had scores ranging from 109 to 140 so what does that tell you? White people always say that blacks have lower IQs than them. It's the systems that makes us look like such.
Black successful neighborhoods = big homes and no thugs? I'm a but confused on what you mean by a thug. So the more successful a person is the bigger their homes should be? I know this is a typical desire for the materialistic but aren't you just competing or better yet perpetuating white supremacist ideologies of classim? It looks nice and all but it also looks like an artificial environment.
I grew up in a community like this, upper economic class black people in New Orleans. My family is a long line of successful black owned businesses. I met someone once and was asked where I was from "my accent" always brings that question. When I said New Orleans she said which project?, I have never even been in a project. This was post Katrina…granted New Orleanians didn't exactly show their best side pre/post Katrina but c'mon not everyone grew up bad that's from New Orleans. There's black communities in Atlanta as well, my late aunt lived in one, black subdivisions with beautiful homes.
Beautiful, I'm a black Jamaican website developer I might not have the same opportunities as Americans but that has never stopped me, I would however rather we as black people focus more on education rather than just trying to earn money. Being able to build something of your own and see it being used by thousands of people is a very good feeling. Stay strong. Love you all
of course you would no thugs out there they bought the land and built their own houses on it. it's not like the city made it. it's the same s*** that everybody keep telling black people to do build your own s*** stop asking the government for s***
This is Port Arthur, TX. I'm a Real Estate Appraiser and I did several Appraisals on many of the homes in Lakeside when the home owners refinanced. The inside of the houses are nice. I recognize that one house in the cul-de-sac that I went into and the two story beige house with the two car garage on the right side. Everyone here was good people.

after watching this, it had me thinking, you can build your own community, we have people out here that's very wealthy, and they don't even think like that. I don't even have their type of money, and that just shows you where my mind is at, like the girl that hit for a hundred and something million I think it was some years ago if I'm not mistaken and they gave her 88 million she spent 9 million of that bailing her boyfriend out of jail she's dumb as hell she should have left that bum took that 9 million and build a community for her family if I ever get that much money I'm building my own community and my own grocery store and my own bank I'm part Italian part black I approve this message 4all.

There's a really affluent black neighborhood in Birmingham, too. It's small but it exist.

Hope is a gated community. But seeing how you seem to have just strolled through there, I'm guessing is not.
