Also I thought homosexualtiy was more than tolerated within the Greek and Roman empires, I'd go as far to say it was welcomed. Just look at the archeological ornaments found which depict gay acts throughout the both reigns/dynasties. Buggering young boys was the norm for those cats.
There are still a lot of "pork chop" preachers around selling African people out for a mercedes and a white woman. In fact samboism is on the rise on the earth at the present.
