Amen Knowtech says:

Blacks need to learn the metaphysics of SERVICE……part of the reason many Black businesses have terrible customer service is a 2-fold issue…..on one hand not enough blacks are in business to foster competition which inherently improves customer service….on the other hand the blacks who are in business have a mentality that all they have to do is open up and say "I'm a Black business" and they expect blacks to shop with them regardless of service quality……and they never stay in business for long as a result…….I LOVE patronizing my people….but at the end of the day if I'm losing money going to your business just because it's Black and you have no sense of COMPETING for my dollars then why should I continue to patronize your bad business model?

Soul love says:

Black folks don't want to hear this! They are too sensitive and they just want you to support Black business but black business need to improve on their service delivery! I am still waiting on herbs from a very respected and celebrated naturopath/herbalist in the black community and it's going on 4 weeks without my order!!!

Cosmic Glider's Dimension says:

Wow, that part about the black barber shop and black businesses being psychologists is powerful.  I never thought about it but it's not just the black church that people learn from, it's supposed to be all of the community businesses.  The barber shop, the beauty shop, everything.  Wow again, thanks for sharing that!
