Our great scholar, Brother Tony Browder delves into the use of propaganda as a tool for shaping consciousness – as with Avatar
www.urgodz.com to purchase 2 DVD set Avatar: A Cultural & Historical Analysis
People are way too hard on Halle for Monster's Ball. She played a broken down woman in pain who craved love and affection. How does that a whore make? artistically blacks should be allowed to express the good bad and ugly or else it's not art. It's like black people don't give black people enough credit. We can't watch a tv show without it being a defining factor of ALL black people. At one point do we rise above that notion? You filter what your children watch and that's it. Other than that, the adult mind should be mature enough to filter what their seeing as either entertainment, art, truth, or pure crap. Isn't it giving away your power to give TV shows and movies so much developmental credit?
if you don't like the Academy and what it stands for why do you watch all the trash films and all the actors/actresses awarded ?
film making has always been about making a lot of money
the best way of fighting the american film propaganda is not buying the movie theatre tickets and dvds and
thus not supporting it
GOOD WORK
BROTHER
which actress turned down monster's ball?
Training Day & Monster's Ball both sucked!
i recognized how the Oscars played Denzel and Halle, Dame Shame!
we need our country of African returned to us…we do not belong here
Avatar was a crappy ass movie by the way. It was a piece of shit.
Boring, meaningless crap. It was very overrated.
Some of the comments… -_- … Seriously?
Every single movie that shows in theaters I can see right through the bullshit. IDC about films anymore only watch movies that have some good messages n symbols.
Who was he talking about in the beginning?
cawmints being removed
this is the type of info we need ….. breakin the spell we R under …
Wat Grow out of it? You mean to tell me we can grow out oppression? We can grow of somebody elses hate? Well dogonit y din we think of that. Lets grow it to a black nation while we at it.
great videos. i love your channel!
its not the roles we play…its the rewards for the negative rolls
I dont agree with this because if you knew Halle berry commented on playing smart intellectual black women and she has played those parts and other parts why do black actors have to be limited and put in a box for playing black people in only a positive light the fact is there actors and they play anything they want. The fact that you still look at color and black people in a different light is a sickness im black and im not pro black im pro humanity it you who have to grow out of this
sex is about whatever a person wants it to be about. It could be intimacy. It could be a way to make another human being. It could be a way to release some stress or it could just be a way to release those feel good orgasmic juices. Sex is whatever a person wants it to be about. Let people live!
you mean assasinated
the NEED to release? is that what sex is about?
I really hate that Birth of a Nation was the world's first feature film.
I've seen Monster Ball.Halley Berry was not a Whore,I don't Get What he's Talking About.
@RealitySpeaksMedia right on , right on, the whites they they do go through trauma, are the bankers, thats why they have systems in place, to keep up distracted to get our wealth back. We r still trying to remember who we were
The point that needs to be stressed is that although whites and blacks both have played roles that were negative, there seems to be an abundance of negative images and not enough positive ones portrayed of blacks.
Word and we haven"t seen Angela since then!!!!!!!! What's up Hollywood??????
@Mrcbclobster , just for the record..Avatar is a MAJOR reach. Its Pochahontas in space, and was so derivative, i dont even know why he even included that. Its blue giraffe characters as indigenous bipeds in space.
