Dr. Wilson's centering of Dubois (as opposed to other Black leaders with much better track records) in his lecture on Black economics has always been a problem for me in listening to this particular video. You can tell his Morehouse College upbringing very clearly in this with the glorification of Dubois (who worked at Atlanta University right across the street from the school) and his need to "correct" the image of Booker T Washington, a person who Dubois succeeded in labeling a sellout Uncle Tom throughout the proceeding generations. The fact that the Hon. Marcus Garvey was not mentioned at all in this video is a shame as well. Dubois spent only the last 30 years of his life on the economic problems of African people and used a much greater part of his youth being the vicious attack dog for the NAACP against any individual who espoused the view of Black [economic] nationalism/African Fundamentalism. Using Dubois is very problematic as the focus or the referential thinker of choice by Dr. Wilson.
Imagine how wonderful the world would be without black people? Less violence, less crime, lower taxes, more charity. The world would be cleaner, friendlier, and happier. Blacks are cancer.
There's always a bunch of assholes in the audience talking and chanting adlibs while Amos Is talking. "Alright, uh oh". Wtf is that shit?
