Poor Dr Clarke! I love and appreciate his knowledge but He either may have had no clue on what was going on in Liberia at the time, or he knew but is intentionally sweeping all of the atrocities brought on by his ancestors; my ancestors the African Americans upon their West African brothers and sisters in Liberia. As told by my native grand parents, and according to missionary papers, and even what I experienced as a child of native Liberian, and AmericoLiberian descent, everything the slave masters did to them in America, they did to our people in Liberia! And as far as I know and all the various African American historians I have listened to, none of them have ever mentioned how Liberia became a failed nation under the rule of the black man! The African American man! Anyone interested in Liberian history, can read about the American Colonization society and how American "freed slaves" ended up in Liberia as an experiment to see how capable the black man was.
