If there was any doubt about South Africa’s poor standing in the eyes of credit rating agencies, it has been harshly removed.
The country has been hit with another downgrade into junk.
On Monday rating agency Standard and Poor’s lowered South Africa’s sovereign rating into sub-investment grade or junk.
And today Fitch has followed suite.
