ECuevas says:

CNN is talking about Kim Kardashian. MSNBC thinks Russia is hacking their toys. FOX is talking about country music singers. NPR is worried about transgender bathrooms for pets in transition. Only RT and a few alternate media outlets talk about real issues. The MSM makes me sick!

Money cartel has used US gov money during Bush's time to have Afganistan, Iraq and Syria to pressure Russia and China. Those rich lobbyiests have have made US slaves by stealing US taxpayers money. They dont work for the people. They want to make the whole world slaves. Thats what Christian leaders called One World Order long ago which is against the democracy. You can see Trump is the money cartel and Trump is the dictator.

Trump still could not hide his stealing of votes and he is still not the president. He is trying to hide something using wars

DEEP STATE in the U.S.: Gen. WESLEY CLARK (1)  learned shortly after 9/11 "We (the US) will go to  WAR WITH 7 COUNTRIES in 5 YEARS." Iraq, SYRIA, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, finishing off Iran. (1) former NATO Europe commander

I strongly recommend watching the interview with Gen. Wesley Clark by
Amy Goodman of Democracy Now on youtube. If you got a little more time his
speech on fora(dot)tv (which includes explanations to geopolitics includig how
these are plans from the 90s – with the same people being large at the
administration9.

"7 countries in 5 years" was decided under Bush (GWB), and the policies were seamlessly ( = Deep State!! ) continued under Obama with the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and later John Kerry.
That's the reason the U.S. Intel agencies (and the war mongerers in the US "elites" including the press) resist Trump, they do not have a problem with his authoritarian tendencies – they dislike the fact that he might be a threat to Cold War 2.0 with Russia – damaging the business model of the Military Industrial Complex. (Well he fell in line with bombing the Syrian airfield without any investigation of the alleged poison gas attack supposedly launched by the Syrian government of course).

See Lee Camp (Redacted, RT) you can search the youtube clip with
"Obama Accidentally Explains That Deep State Is A Real Thing!", the
upload is from 19.11.2016, you can start at 55 seconds to save time

My description of content, some quotes

… Obama says that while a smooth transfer of power from one president to
another is not constitutionally required it is one of these norms vital for a
functioning democracy.  And continues:
"There is enormous continuity beneath the day to day news that makes us
that indispensable nation when it comes to order and promote prosperity around
the world "

Lee Camp: "What he describes is the "Deep State". He says that the largest part of our government stays the same, no matter who the president is. He is saying it should give us comfort, even if Trump tries to shit all over our society. The Deep State is like a teflon coating, most of it just rolls right off.

But in general this also should be a little terrifying. The Military Industrial Complex will continue blowing up civilians and selling arms to
foreign regimes. Wallstreet will keep sucking up the wealth of the nation.
Monsanto will keep doing whatever godawful thing they came up with this week.

Normally the Congress and the president don’t talk about the Deep State.
But right now, in these crazy times they are like: Thank the Lord! What the
people vote for has only a small degree of impact on our syste. Thank god
democracy is about 70 % for show."

Xyz Same says:

I can see how the U.S. tries to divide China and Russia apart. I think they know that, and also that the U.S. is not to be trusted. These two countries have a continuity of rule and foreign policy knowledge (China as dictatorship, Russia as "controlled" democracy). The continuity in the U.S. is the Deep State (see next comment) – Putin is an ex KGB officer, I would expect the Chinese government also to be knowledgeable about foreign policy (there it is an advantage if you stay longer in power to learn about it). I assume that they are all CAPABLE of processing nuance. And capable of acting under a long term strategy. – So I hope the Chinese leader played Trump – would not be hard – smiling nicely, nodding, they sent ships with coal from North Korea back (that could be a gesture) – and when the attention is elsewhere, China will act as they see fit.

The U.S. is not a relyable partner – they are – sort of – for Europe, because the European leaders behave like vasalls (see The Grand Chessboard, Zbigniew Bzrezinski, there is a pdf online available).

Russia and China are not going to behave like vasalls, well not under their current leadership, Jeltsin for instance was about to sell off Russia's natural resources to Western corporations, in case you ever wondered why Putin is disliked: he prevented that. He is certainly no democratic force but there are much worse dictatorships out there . Saudia Arabia for instance – and compare the treatment Putin and the House of Saud are getting.

I do not know if Russia and China (their ruling class) ever dream of being the dominant superpower of the world – but they are smarter than trying to achieve that. Sustaining the Empire is very expensive (you have to deal with the backlash and ressentment of the nations you try to exploit and subjugate to your geostrategic and economic rule). And expanding the empire will at some point lead to it's collapse. – U.S. society shows some signs of a collapsing empire – China and Russia do not suffer from "exceptionalism" in the U.S. sense, they are too pragmatic to nourish that delusion / mental illness.

Xyz Same says:

"Sir" Tony Brenton: If we see the "brutality" of the last weeks repeated in Syria ….. " I think he refers to the alleged poison gas attack nearby Idlib that was IMMEDIATELY blamed on the Syrian government . Well the rebels, ahem jihadists said so, it is not like they would have any reason to lie about it. – Oh, and the Western regime changers don't want the "brutality" to be investigated by the UN (their fake offer was only with a resolution that ALSO condemns Syria – right ! do the judgement in advance and in combination with the order to investigate what the heck happened and who did it – Russia vetoed that resolution or it never was voted on expecting Russian dissent – Syria now invites experts from other countries to investigate. Of course the U.S. investigators would have been SAFER in the area held by the jihadists. The goal of the poison gas attack (or the accident that was conviniently blamed on the government) was to get more direct military support from U.S. and NATO. Killing or kidnapping U.N. investigators would seriously undermine the propaganda effort.

I am disgusted especially at the role of the EU where Germany plays a major role. The U.S., UK and France were always imperialistic forces – but it behooves Germany to be a force for peace (the population sees it that way, not that their ruling class lives up to the expectation – although the German governments are usually better than the Brits).

Nathan Neiman says:

What empires do? They wage war, invade, conquer, subjugate, enslave, and exploit other countries. There are only five countries that are not currently under US domination, Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and Syria. If the US continues to insist on the conquest of these countries, they will inevitably trigger a nuclear war that will destroy the entire planet, including themselves. The expansion of the Empire reached a dead end. However, the logic of the imperial system requires unconditional continuous expansion in order to obtain new resources that, once exhausted, lead to the decline and collapse of economic activity. Exactly what is happening now in the American imperial economy. Add to these factors the extreme greed and voracity of the imperial economic-financial elites. An extremely successful pathological organism that parasites a host ends up killing itself when it kills the host. Like the citizens of the ancient Roman Empire, Americans live at the expense of bloodshed, packed by the circus of daily violence transmitted by the prostituted media of the Empire.

Clarence Edwards says:

Sir Tony Brenton, retired ambassador, you are indeed a pathological liar. How can you say with any degree of accuracy that Assad carried out the chemical attack, given the fact that while the Syrian authorities were disarmed of their chemical weapons, the Isis rebels were not? Nobody ever checked the Isis rebels to disarm them of any weapons; as a matter of fact, the CIA were constantly arming them left right and center. I find your comments to be very offensive and disingenuous, in the light of the prevailing evidence that America wants to remove Assad from power by any means necessary; and given the propensity for the Americans to lie, like they did to start the Vietnam and Iraq wars, there is no way that I or any other rational person could hasten to believe anything they say that is inimical to any country that they do not like. You ought to be ashamed for making such a stupid comment.

Clarence Edwards says:

American politicians are devils; the American people are finding themselves now between a rock and a hard place.

theperogie says:

Not Jimmy Carter

Cynthia Allaire says:

Sir Tony Breton is a liar. The host should have asked him to explain how he and "the West" are so certain Assad directed the recent poison gas attack when the episode 4 years ago proved to be a false flag, though the saber rattling over this alleged "crossing of the red line" in Syria during Obama's reign drove Raytheon's stock up by 17% straight away. Only amnesiacs could be fooled by this repeat performance of the misrepresented gas attack.

Slyde InfinitySpinCasts says:

Russia needs to be gay raped for it's concentration camps perhaps with say some really impossible megatonnage of really stupid weaponry . However why "intellectuals" still discuss is perhaps fascinating. Sure anyway perhaps the Soviet Era has been debased enough as it's contribution of following the religeous priority to exist alongside less progressive civilisations. Why co intel pro period embarassment of the U.S mainland isn't really relevant but sure music is good like all free expression
