'because every dog has its day' , what goes up must come down, etc. all of these quotes hold a valid meaning in the world. and that is due to the structure and cycles of this world. we are living in a cycle of negativity at the moment and those who seek destroy, use and abuse us are just a form of negativity that we must overcome in order to grow as both physical & spiritual beings…hope this helps

Maybe it's because our ancestors didn't have these magical powers to begin with or these powers are being exaggerated. I mainly hear these views coming from Afrocentric black-Americans who want to romanticize about Africa. I've rarely seen any Nigerians,Ghanaians and Kenyans pushing those views about their culture.

@Kinghercules Ive also pondered this question, &I feel that while we teach the wondrous history of the Ancestors that we must balance it with the other side of it. We must let our children know that it was weakness that cause our Ancestors to fall into internal wars, covetousness and "Barbarism" that made them prey. Dr. Coleman mentions that these Barbars were once the Africans that migrated north.This migration & Ice Age effected them negatively, can't say I agree w/it all, some points r good
@Kinghercules Because our Ancestors were human beings, susceptible to the influence of flesh, greed, selfishness, etc. Once these influences became prominent in the psyche of our Ancestors… it overrode the Ancient Science and power of the Nommo. The Arabs & Europeans would not have had any power until the Ancestors gave up their essential teachings, philosophy and spiritual knowledge. Hopefully, we as their descendants have learned a very powerful lesson and regain our power.
