In 2008 Dr. Na'im Akbar, America's most renowned African-centred psychologists, gave a key-note presentation at the Redefining Sanity Conference in London. GlobalFaction and Clearview Media were given the opportunity to film the Dr. as he provided a special insight into his personal experience of growth and change within the context of 60' and 70's America, and the development of the Assoc. of Black Psychologists.

I choose to study psychology also, I would say take there information, use what you can, discard what you can't. Some of their theories are interesting and may have some validity. I hope to expand on Dr. Akbar's work and use it to discern or filter the information I get from them.
So, what do we do in the mean time? I'm in graduate school for psychology and I don't understand or what to understand anything that they are trying to teach me… It's like my brain rejects their information…

Black's in general need to pay attention that a new liberation paradigm is needed and not some crazy religous program.
