I disagree with the plagiarism idea as with the usual Zeitgeisty stuff, but great talk about bowing down to the tree. Even Biblically, Christians will defend that to no end, and I don't understand why people honestly think there's a difference between the pagan actions clearly warned against in the text and current ones when both are the same; the motives may be different, but kissing the pope's ring out of respect and not worship doesn't make the action any less wrong or idolatrous to do. These holiday characters, symbols and actions don't just spring out of thin air, agreed. Would love to see the presentation. Thanks for sharing, Dr. Watkins.
