In today’ episode we explore the world of construction through the eyes of two black female entrepreneurs, Tshepiso Mametja and Julia Petla.

Tshepiso Mametja of Amphiguard Brickyard cc in Sekororo is an award-winning entrepreneur with a zest for entrepreneurship. Since inheriting the business from her father, she has re-structured the business and introduced a new leadership that catapulted the business into new heights. However, challenges such penetrating the market and staff management are still hampering the growth of her business. At home her parents and sister tells us about the woman behind Amphiguard and what makes her special.

Julia Petla owner of Amedzo Trading and Projects tells us about the intricacies of operating as a sub-contractor in the construction industry. She shares with how her businesses was birthed and what were some of the challenges she has faced as an entrepreneur. At home her siblings open up about her childhood and some of the memories they share together whilst growing up.
