Lanee Javet speaks about the fact that she was banned from Facebook for telling black people to support black businesses.

Here's the problem…we have to use coded language the same way "they" do. E.g. they use " urban" when they mean black neighborhood. Anytime there is a hint of black unity, "they" try to shut it down. Stop being so obvious. We must be slick about what we're doing. Use "diaspora"…shit, use urban like they do.
One of Many Reasons why I Don't Do "SOCIAL MEDIA" and Especially "FB"! If I was in the Position to do so I would create my on "Hook Up!"…Hint!…Hint!…God Bless!

When you do not have a website and use your social accounts to drive traffic to your website, what you're doing is akin to 'Parking Lot Pimping' on the internet.
Black Business need to have their own websites. Post their address on the regular. Cut out all of these strange ass spellings of words so that people can get to your site to do business with you.
Stop being afraid to spend money on your business and build up your own business' infrastructure. Get a site, get an app, get an internet radio station or show, share links to other business on your website and move on from there.
But more importantly, stop using social media as your website and as your only means of advertising your business. You need to invest in Search Engine optimization and organically getting your business listed in search engine results for relevant keywords and yes, even hashtags!
What happened to this women and her organization is what happens when you rely on social media to not only house your agenda, but to also push your agenda… you're going about things the wrong way…
couple years ago people were sharing a video of an infant being molested and it stayed up for days before facebook took it down. i even reported to the fbi and nothing. lol probably just put me on a list somewhere
That's funny because when I reported a video that was bashing black women I got a PERSONAL reply from Facebook saying the reviewed the video and they didn't see anything that violated their terms of use. However, someone reports this woman's post about supporting black-owned businesses and she's blocked within 5 minutes?! It might be time to create our own platform.
well by now I hope she has a website, I have Facebook but I don't depend on it.
let's help make our own and call it black book. com
Miss Evette, let's start a Black Book.
