I Awakened Saturday morning, caught the train from New Jersey to New York. While in transist I purchased by Bus ticket to DC. Then, I took Uber to Dick Gregory's Celebration Of Life Service. And That Is Truly What His Family Shared In This Temple "City Of Praise". I am so glad my spirit guided me there.
I Got To Witness The Love, Appreciation and Dedication Of Our Earthly Warrior Who Spanned The Decade Of Times. And To Hear and View Excerpts Of His Life's Walk. Truly Amazing. Then to witness how, they Uplifted and Gave His Wife Lillian Gregory, Her Flowers For Sharing Her Life Unselfishly To Support Her Husband, Dick Gregory, In Everyway.
Her Life Has Changed and I'm Praying She Will Heal From The Love They Shared As She Carries Their Lifetime Memories For The Rest Of The Days Of Her Life. For, Yes, He Is Not Dead, His Address Has Changed To Up Above. Thank You Mrs. Gregory For Everything You Have Contributed.
My Mom used to play and sing, Give Me My Flowers. I Witnessed Our People Giving Mrs. Gregory Her Flowers As She Lives On The Day She Is Returning Her Husband To God.
What A Phenomenal Experience For Me To Witness. Thank You Lord For Sending Us Dick Gregory Who Always Stood Up For Truth. For Being A Path Maker, Setting Examples For All Of Us To Follow. All Races. His Universal God.
Dick, I Will Miss You. I Pray The Fire You Lit Will Remain Lit In Our Younger Generations. For Our Elders Truly Sacrificed For Us.
