As one of the most successful and wealthiest African American communities in the United States during the early 20th Century, Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma was popularly known as America's "Black Wall Street". At the peak of their wealth in 1921, they had a business district of over 34 blocks with around 600 flourishing businesses. This talk brings you into the world of Black Wall Street, documenting it's growth, peak and ultimate demise.
