Flashback: Dr. Umar Johnson Compares Kaepernick to Muhammad Ali
Last year, Dr. Umar Johnson opened up to VladTV about a range of topics, including prisons continuing slavery today, and Colin Kaepernick's protest of the national anthem.
Dr. Umar Johnson believes that what Kaepernick is doing is right, as he added that this type of action from an athlete hasn't been seen since Muhammad Ali. He also claims that no black athlete should stand for the national anthem, equating it to Jewish people standing for the Nazi anthem.
