Etymology – the study of the origin of words and the way in which their meanings have changed throughout history. Brother Tarik schooled the younger brother that words and their meanings have changed over time.
i don't understand how its ignorance at the end. the man didn't understand so he tried to find clarity. i feel like he should've at least let him ask his questions to show respect
AWSOME. but the "etymon" of the meaning of "Black" is corrupted by the american "White" man. English is a corrupted language. It's made up of a bunch of languages and people of other countries say it's the hardest language to learn, Y because America changes the rules of everything to "keep the masses down".
wowww…amazing, I'm from Cameroun, Africa. and in my generation we were thought that way to learn whole things. Since I came to the U.S I feel dumber and more lost in my studies. but brother T Coleman broke down the Science behind education. WOW
If I lay 52 Cards out and say pick One, is that a Choice, even though I set the cards out for YOU to "Choose" from?
I think we need to realise that the Choices we believe we are making are already being made for us. And the only way to make a Free Choice is not to Choose from the Choices available..
my goodness the ending had me mean mugging though. how can someone be so dense. taj's patience toward the ignorant is amazing because if it was me id probably walk away.
Overall this was a wonderful video, thanks very much for sharing it. In particular, I'd like to mention the section with the Honorable Taj Tarik Bey. In this clip it is clear what a lack of knowledge, respect and ego can do to keep us divided. Though the young brother may have good intentions it is clear he needs to study as we all do. What is worse is he does not know the rules regarding Etymology, furthermore, false pride and ego will not allow him to acknowledge his ignorance.
