According to the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, actor Jared Garfield will be joining the cast. He is set to play the First Doctor’s traveling mate this Christmas. He will appear as Ben Jackson in the holiday special, “Twice Upon a Time.” Aside from appearances in various novels, short stories, comics, and audio stories, the character of Ben has not been seen in the televised Whoniverse since “The Faceless One.” Dr. Who fans can tune in to the BBC on Christmas day to check out Jared’s portrayal of Ben.
