Fidel Castro was about action and defeated European racist murdering armies. Prof Small is correct again with the Catholic church. The Church its an extremely powerful and influential State pays no taxes and is involved in all global affairs in the highest intracasies. Where they have issues is, is in Nations where Socialism struggles and knows that the church is involved in undermining nations through moral indignation of poor and ignorant peoples as well as CIA mental reprogramming. They also know a lot about who is responsible for giving and carrying out orders of Torture and Mass Murder in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and South East Asia.

I also understand that it was when the US had annexed Puerto Rico, Cuba, Phillipines, Guam etc. When Cuba was fighting for independence at one point the US pretends to come in against Spain to only empower the White Cubans and wealthy land owners of Cuba as well as other Carribbean Island Land owners, where again the US would benefit from unequal trade like the Spaniards had. Once again The Oligarchy of the Largest most productive Islands and Not just Cuba but Dominican Republic, Haiti and P.R. and Jamaica. There's also the internal Struggle of Wealthy versus Poor Where Race wasn't the factor nor isn't necessarily today in All the Islands always although in Cuba Poor Whites weren't necessarily treated any better than Poor Blacks although there might have been subterfuge and egregious acts against blacks more often than that of poor whites, whites would side with blacks and then later on the White Olirgarchs of Cuba would use that as a way to say there was unity against Imperialist rule in fact there trying that nonsense now including mullato's that side with Rwhight wing Of today, like I said Rwhight wing.
