The (other) “BLACK WALL STREETS” You never heard of
Discussion and vintage videos from The Black Wall Street and other black towns before they were destroyed. Discussion of lessons from this important American history and an introduction to some of the oldest black towns that are still thriving and survived the race wars (unprovoked genocide) of the 20's that destroyed both The Black Wall Street, Rosewood Florida and many other thriving and prosperous black towns in the 20's.
There were actually more than 70 separate vibrant; productive; prosperous African American towns that were real COMMUNITIES just a few decades after the abolition of slavery 1865. By 1920 there were many black towns that rivaled and actually exceeded many of the nearby white towns.
The OLDEST standing black town is Eatonville Florida which was established in 1887 ...just a little more than 20 YEARS after the abolition of SLAVERY in America. It is a marvel that people who had been denied education; opportunity; access to capital and the basic freedoms and rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness built many TOWNS from the ground up that rivaled and in many cases EXCEEDED and surpassed the townships of their former masters.
These former slaves owned EVERYTHING. They built their own communities from the ground up. They designed; constructed; built; developed; planted; harvested; created; manufactured; shipped; sewed; everything they needed to succeed without having to depend upon the racist whites who did not want them or their money.
They owned their own factories; shops; stores; electric plants; water companies; funeral parlors; hospitals; churches; schools; grocery stores; movie theaters; bus lines; oil wells and even one of the very few air strips in the country and several airplanes ...and they knew how to FLY them. They were self-governed and VERY prosperous by the standards of the era.
This is not just black history it is AMERICAN history and yet our school systems have been deftly silent on this important history OR if it's mentioned at all the TRUTH is often tainted.
This video shows graphic proof of this history and you'll see some of the rare vintage footage of the blacks who made this happen in spite of insurmountable oppression; segregation and with little to NO help from the government they still had to pay taxes to.

Funny how whites want us to go back to where we "came from" but when we were in our our towns, not worried about them and living it up, they came and destroyed it.. Had the whites left us alone, we may have still been out of site and out of mind.. but that's hard when our "mind" is the reason they are wealthy and prosper.. SMH. We need to rebuild and have our own sectors.
Black people you can go back to this. It is possible. We can do it by encouraging each other , be kind to eat h other and want the best for our PEOPLE. This is achievable with togetherness and hard work. Unity is the only way black people stop seeing each other as enemies. That seed was planted by white people. Divide black people and conqure. U will only win if you reject the white man's narrative and unite and PROSPERITY will follow
Those" black people" are native to America. They got to Tulsa via the Trail of Tears. They thrived because this is their land. Whites were poor and jealous because they had no ties to the land. These people were ran off of their native land. So-called African Americans ain't African.
we used to own our own everything.we have to get it back.we have to support black banks,and businesses.stop giving white, Arabs and Asian our money!!!!!! open our own schools , businesses, police, military, hospitals.if the rappers and athletes make it rain for their people's we can do it again.reteach our youth.
And, now there's the last 70, or so, years worth of generations that are just too primitive-minded to get with the times and realize that the new society of whites have outgrown the racial difference. Begging for reparations, more like handouts, because they're too lazy and ignorant to realize that everyone, no matter what color, earns what they get out of life, and that there is no such thing as "white supremacy"… it's a class thing, not a color thing. Stop crying that your history begins in chains on ships to blame whites and go back a bit further and realize it was your own people who put your people in slavery, then your people owned your people, afterwards. Deny, deny, deny… and keep spinning your wheels instead of progressing with civilized society.

This video should be convincing enough to have FULL segregation once again. I don't want my grandbabies playing with little white babies. Damn what MLK was saying. Integration murders us. The scripture even tells us not to keep company with the heathen. Only if they get circumcised and follow the statutes and commandments are we to treat them as our own. Circumcised has more than the literal meaning. They have to prove their human for us to kick it. Good vid.
