Not so familiar with Elijah Muhammad's part as far as Malcolm being murdered. But it is well known from the old NOI magazine that Malcolm started. Farrakhan wrote an article after Malcolm's departure and he commented inside this particular column which he wrote referring Malcolm was " Worthy of death, and tongue should be cut out for being a so called traitor ". Now in my opinion due to observing a lot of documentaries I believe he did not commit the assassination directly or was amongst those who carried out the deed. But he encouraged it and fueled the flame that led to our great leader being snatched away.
